Everyone knows the pain of buying new ink, you may even have looked over at the printer isle and realized that you could buy a printer for less than you are spending on ink! We have many issues with ink including the obvious statement that it is expensive (we just calculated the ink cost on an XL canon cartridge, it worked out to over $2,700/Liter), another is that this small amount of ink is poured over a sponge so you can never get it all out, of the ink that you can get out, some of it is wasted by the printer intentionally by “cleaning” as it sprays some of your precious ink onto another sponge in the bottom of the printer.

Now, you may be thinking “I don’t print much so the high prices don’t really matter to me”, that’s great, until you go to print for the first time in a few months and realize that your ink has dried up, now, those 3 pages you printed 6 months ago cost you $15 each!

Obviously I am not just here to complain, there are options out there for you. If you want to stick to your inkjet printer you can give us a call and we can get your price we have a supplier that sells 3rd Party off brand ink for a great discount.

Laser printers use a powder instead of a liquid ink so it can’t dry up, also a cartridge is oftentimes good for a couple thousand pages, you can also get these cheaper online. You may spend a bit more upfront ($200 for black and white with a scanner, or a couple hundred for a colour printer), but you will end up with a machine that is built to last and costs less to run!

If you have any questions about the right printer for you feel free to give us a call and we will find a good match for you.
